Island Tour of Tahiti and Her Islands
 Tahiti
and Her Islands are officially known as French Polynesia. The 118
islands and atolls that make up French Polynesia are well known
for their beauty. There are reef-fringed islands, swaying palm trees
and vivid turquoise lagoons. The islands comprise 5 distinctly different
groups (archipelagos), which include: the Society Islands, the Tuamotu
Islands, the Marquesas Islands, the Australs and the Gambier Islands.
These Islands epitomize the South Seas dream and to scuba dive in
Tahiti is to experience an underwater Shangri-la. From the mountainous
islands of Moorea and Bora
Bora, to the low-lying coral atolls of Rangiroa
and Fakarava, you will find the
scuba diving to be world class.
 The
color of the water is the first thing that will capture your attention.
You will see turquoise lagoons and azure seas with visibility up
to 150 feet. Most of the islands in Tahiti have very little current,
providing ideal conditions for all levels of scuba divers. In addition,
too many tourists have not ruined Tahiti and Her Islands. In fact,
more tourists visit Hawaii in two weeks than visit Tahiti
in one year. Here is one of the few places in the world that the
waters are still in pristine condition and perfect for scuba diving.
